What is the Fort Hill Community School?
The Fort Hill Community School (formerly the Homebound Learning Center) is an alternative education environment, which offers programs for students in grades 6-12. Homebound instruction is provided at Fort Hill for those students who are unable to remain in the traditional classroom setting.
How are students placed at the Fort Hill Community School?
Principal of base school can request alternative placement for a student. A student may be placed at FHCS site for medical reasons. Placement for disciplinary reasons will be determined on an individual basis by the school division superintendent.
What is the curriculum at the Fort Hill Community School?
Subject assignments are provided by Standards of Learning-based instructional packets created by school division personnel.
