Rules & Procedures
- Respect each other, the teacher and yourself.
- Always come to class on time and be ready to work.
- Follow all class procedures.
- Follow all school and LCS rules
- Be responsible for your own destiny.
Procedures
· Entering the classroom.Enter silently and begin the work on the board without having to be told to. Have your homework ready, without being asked.
· When you are tardy.Wait quietly at the door until allowed in. Proceed to seat without causing disruption. Be prepared to spend at least ten minutes after school back in W207.
· At the end of the lesson.Regardless of the bell, wait until you have been dismissed.
· Leaving the classroom at any other time.Ask for permission to do so. Bathroom breaks are highly unlikely.
· Asking & responding to questions.If you have a question, raise your hand, otherwise wait to be called upon.
· When you need materials.BRING YOUR OWN!!! Otherwise raise your hand and ask permission to ask to borrow an item from a colleague or rent one from the teacher.
· When you are absent.It is your responsibility to catch up the work that you missed either by asking friends or coming outside of class time and asking the teacher. Any tests or quizzes can only be made up out of class time. Let the teacher know that you are coming. Pick up your missing worksheets, etc from your class crate.
· Working Co-operatively.Each person has the right to participate. When someone else is asking or answering a question you must remain silent. YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO DISTURB THEM!!!
· Keeping your notebook.Make notes while the teacher is teaching and giving examples. Keep all notes and tests given. There are no review notes before exams, the notes given throughout the year are also your study notes.
· When you need help.During class work-time, please ask the teacher for help. If you do not ask you cannot be helped.
· Progress Reports.Each interim and progress report must be returned signed within three days of being issued.
· Finishing early.During tests, if you finish early keep the test, turn it over and remain silent without taking anything out.
· If the teacher is out of the room.Carry on as if he were there.
· Eating, drinking and chewing.You may drink water or soda in class but you may not eat or chew gum at any time, REGARDLESS OF WHAT HAPPENS IN OTHER CLASSES.
