Class Overview
In second grade, students begin to work more independently. They are encouraged to demonstrate individual creativity. Our classroom offers a variety of hands-on activities to enhance learning. The classroom meets individual needs of all learners by using a variety of learning techniques: computer, SmartBoard, digital presenter projector,video projection unit, cooperative learning, tutoring, peer tutoring, mentoring programs, and small group work. I recognize the uniqueness and worth of all students and will teach each student the concepts, knowledge, and skills necessary to be thinking, productive, and responsible citizens. I use a broad range of assessments and provide early and quick intervention when students do not progress.
