Class Overview
Technology is an integral part of instruction at our school. We have two PC computer labs with 27 and 30 networked computers in each. A mobile laptop lab with 25 laptops is also available for check out to be used throughout the building. Every classroom has at least two multimedia computers connected to the network and a video projection unit. We are working toward a goal of having a SmartBoard in every classroom. Large screen monitors are assigned to each grade level and available for large group instruction. SmartBoards, VPU’s, digital cameras, digital recorders, scanners, Computer Response Systems, and Airliners are all used to enrich our instruction. Teachers use technology to teach the Virginia Standards of Learning.
