The E. C. Glass Air Force Junior Reserves Officers’ Training Corps came out on top during this weekend’s Mustang Drill Meet at Monticello High School in Charlottesville. The Glass Corps faced tough competition from nine other teams from Maryland and Virginia. Glass captured first-place finishes in Inspection and Armed Regulation and the group placed second in Color Guard and Armed Exhibition. Overall, the Glass Corps came in first place.
Up next on the competition circuit, the Glass Guard drill team will head to the Air Force Nationals Drill Championships on March 25, 2011 in Landover, Maryland.
