Several E. C. Glass Career-Tech students qualified for national competition after earning gold medals at the 2012 Virginia Health Occupations Students of America competitions in Williamsburg during the weekend of March 17.
Tenesha Davis, Katelynn Hall, Katelyn Jones and Chantel Molina won the gold medal in the Community Awareness competition as they presented the Dental Health Fair that was held at E. C Glass in February for Lynchburg and the surrounding areas. Arnetia Arnold won the gold medal in Dental Spelling. Quanisha Haythe won 5th place with her health poster.
All gold-medal winners will travel to Orlando, Florida, in June for the national competition.
