A former local football star returned to his old stomping grounds to share a very powerful story with student athletes at E. C. Glass High School.
B. B. Shavers was the AAA State Football Player of Year in 1988, but his life took some interesting turns, and he ended up behind bars. After serving 19 years in prison, Shavers wants to tell his story so that today’s youth can learn from his mistakes.
