The Central Virginia Regional Science Fair steering committee announces the 2014 Science Fair Challenge winners. The annual event was held May 6 and was hosted by Central Virginia Governor's School. There were 65 middle school participants in grades 6-8 who were local school winners and advanced to the regional event. Below is the list of LCS winners.
Broadcom Masters Nominees
The Central Virginia Regional Science Fair steering committee announces the 2014 nominees from the regional fair to the National Broadcom Masters Competition. Ten students were nominated from the region as best of fair projects to compete to be one of the Rising Stars in Math, Applied Science, Technology, and Engineering. The program is part of the Society for Science and the Public.
