Sheffield Elementary School kicked off its Watch DOGS program in January. Over 150 fathers and a total of 375 men showed up to learn more about this program. “It was touching to see these dads, uncles, grandpas, and male friends parking all over the neighborhood, arriving by cab, etc., to support their kids,” said Lisa Lee, Sheffield principal.
Watch DOGS is a program to promote parent involvement in their child's education, specifically targeting dads and other male role models.
