GENERAL PTO MEETING & PRESENTATION ON GIFTED OPPORTUNITIES
The March PTO board meeting will include a general PTO meeting and will be held on Monday, March 2 at 7:00 p.m., in the BHS library. We will have a special presentation given by Ms. Davis, our DEPTH coach, and Ms. Boyles, the LCS Supervisor of Elementary Math, Science and Gifted, on gifted opportunities at LCS and the gifted identification process. This information is geared towards 1st and 2nd grade parents, however, all interested persons are welcome. The meeting is open to all BHS families and childcare for school aged children is provided. SPACED OUT STEM NIGHT!!
Come get lost in space with us on Thursday, February 27 from 5:30-7:30 p.m.! Bedford Hills is offering a variety of S.T.E.M. activities for your family to navigate your way through our galaxy. You won’t want to miss this fun adventure!! You can discover how much you weigh on Jupiter, build your own moon shoes, create a rocket lander, participate in coding activities, sample astronaut food, and much more! If you have NOT RSVPed, but would still like to attend, please email [email protected], no later than Wednesday, so we can plan for enough materials. It’s going to be OUT OF THIS WORLD!!
VIOLIN
Everyone is invited to come and hear the Bedford Hills Violin students perform in the Academy Warehouse Theatre on Friday, February 21 at 6:30 p.m. Parents are asked to bring cookies to share. The concert will begin with the Twinkle Variations and then progress to more advanced repertoire. The audience will be treated to Orange Blossom Special and many other selections.
