Dear BHS Parents,
The staff at Bedford Hills and the Bedford Hills PTO are committed to supporting a successful remote learning experience for all of our families. In order to honor that commitment, and build community among our families and staff, we will host our first virtual “BHS Community Connections” event Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. on Zoom. Teachers at each grade level and extra support staff will be available to answer your remote learning questions. We will also utilize breakout rooms so that parents can speak with teachers at their child's grade level and meet other parents at that grade level too. We hope for lively discussion as we share our struggles and successes and some useful tips & tricks as well!
We look forward to seeing our Husky families on Wednesday!

How can I get involved?
Husky families, even though we aren’t together in the building, there are still ways for you to help our teachers and students. Please fill out this form to say how you would like to be involved with our school. We Now Have A 24/7 Library Book Return!
Please use this bin to return any library books you may still have at home, and stay tuned for the unveiling of our curbside library book pick-up program next week. Huskies succeed when they read, and Mrs. Arp can’t wait to share books from the library shelves with you very soon!
Kroger Plus, Amazon Smile, Box Tops for Education, Givens School Rebate Program
BHS PTO is eligible for these reward programs to earn money for our school doing the things you already do! Each week we will show you how to sign up for one of these simple programs. This week: Kroger Rewards! Do you have the Kroger app? It makes it easy to collect Kroger rewards for BHS! First, download the app (it’s blue, with a white “K” on it). Second, tap on the upper right corner, where you see the three horizontal lines representing the menu. From the menu, tap on “Rewards,” and then on “Community Rewards.” Next, click on “Search for Organization”, then type “Bedford Hills.” Finally, you will see Bedford Hills Elementary PTO. Click on “Enroll.” You are all set! Stay tuned next week for additional ways to help our PTO!
