The Heritage High School Girls' Track and Field team was also recognized during the City Council meeting for their incredible season. The Girls' Track & Field team won the Indoor Region 3C Championship, followed by the VHSL 3A Indoor Track & Field State Championship during the winter. During the spring, the team won the Region 3C Championship followed by the VHSL 3A Outdoor Track & Field State Championship.
