The Board of Trustees of the Lynchburg City Schools Education Foundation, Inc. (LSCEF) is pleased to name Dawn Fields Wise as its new Executive Director. Ms. Wise has worked for United Way of Central Virginia since 2014, most recently serving as Director of Resource and Grant Development. She holds a BA from University of Virginia and brings 18 years of non-profit expertise to the Foundation.

Ms. Wise, who begins her new position on November 7, 2022, shared these comments:

I have a lifelong love and commitment to education, and I look forward to building upon the past success and growth of the organization, while putting my passion to work for the City's education community."
Since 1985, the LCS Education Foundation has furthered the aims of the Lynchburg City Schools by cultivating financial resources from businesses and individuals in the community to support teachers and sponsor high quality educational programs for students.
