On Thursday, December 5, 2024, from 1-2 p.m., E. C. Glass High School (ECG) will host representatives from the STEM Academy. The STEM Academy is for rising juniors who may be interested in engineering, mechatronics, biotechnology, health science, and cybersecurity. On Wednesday, December 9, 2024, from 1-2 p.m., a representative from Central Virginia Community College (CVCC) will be coming to ECG to discuss Early College for rising juniors. Early College is a competitive admissions program composed of a cohort of qualified high school juniors and seniors who are enrolled in a two-year associate degree program.

On Thursday, December 10, 2024, from 1-2 p.m., ECG will host representatives from the Central Virginia Governor's School (CVGS). This program is for rising juniors who are highly interested in math, science, and technology through research-based discoveries. For more information please direct yourself to the CVGS website.

On Wednesday, December 11, 2024, from 8-9 a.m., ECG will host representatives from the Career Technical Education (CTE) Academy. The CTE Academy is for rising seniors who may be interested in programs such as electrical technology, health sciences, mechatronics, welding, industrial maintenance and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning.

On Wednesday, December 11, 2024, from 1-2 p.m., ECG will host an information session for students interested in Dual Enrollment programs. Dual Enrollment programs allow eligible high school students to enroll in college coursework while still in high school. Courses are taught by full or part-time faculty who meet VCCS credentialing requirements.
