God Lives in Glass CastComing this November, E. C. Glass Theatre is presenting the contemporary musical "God Lives in Glass: Reflections of God as Seen through the Eyes of Children."

This powerful and poignant musical, written by Robert Landy with music by Keith Thompson, explores God through the eyes of the world’s children. It was created from interviews with more than 500 children from all over the world asking them to draw pictures and tell stories about God. The cast of E. C. Glass Theatre students will recreate these stories through song, dance, musical instruments, and their own art.

Tom Harris, director of drama at E. C. Glass, has been working directly with the composer on this production. "It has been so exciting collaborating with Keith," Harris said. "He has re-written some of the music specifically for our production and has been instrumental in making our adaptation work. He has given us the freedom to make the show our own and use our 24-member cast any way we wish!"

Performances are in the Alumni Studio Theatre at E. C. Glass High School at 7:30 p.m. on November 13th-17th, with the November 15th performance being sign interpreted for the hearing impaired.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for seniors and students. Advanced tickets will go on sale at the E. C. Glass Auditorium Lobby Box office weekdays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. from November 8-16 and at the door one hour prior to each performance.
