Several Lynchburg City middle school students earned high honors at this year’s Regional Science Fair.
Sandusky Middle School had the following winners:
William Hamilton took first place in the Plant Sciences category. Shivanie Kodikalla placed second in the Earth and Planetary Sciences, and Orion Ferguson earned Honorable Mention in the Earth and Planetary Sciences.
Dunbar Middle School had the following winners:
William Lankford won first place in Physics, the Grand Physical Award, the Naval Award, the U. S. Air Force Award, and the Broadcom Award. Natalie Uhl won first place in Engineering and the Naval Award and Broadcom Award. Amy Jablonski took third in Plant Sciences, and Kyara Johnson earned Honorable Mention in Plant Sciences. Lucy Williams earned Honorable Mention in Chemistry.
Linkhorne Middle School had the following winners:
Weston McSwain and Sammy Hamilton placed second in Physics, and Dylan Myaing was third in Physics. Reilly Krason and Tyler Wynnyk earned Honorable Mention (Dental Award) in Physics.
