All E. C. Glass students were given a once in a lifetime opportunity last week to hear from Holocaust survivor Halina Yasharoff Peabody during a morning assembly. English teachers prepared students in advance by sharing Ms. Peabody's story and setting the tone for the program. Following the school-wide assembly, a smaller group of students gathered in the Marie Waller Lecture Hall for a reception where they were able to ask Ms. Peabody questions about her experience.
