REMINDER: DROP-OFF/PICK-UP PROTOCOL
Parents, just a reminder for our car riders, there is NO LEFT HAND TURN in the parking lot during drop off and pick up. Also, please remember to keep your "number" in the top right hand corner of your windshield until your child is in the car. Should you have any questions, contact Mrs.Riley at (434) 515-5210.
REQUEST: COLLECT TOILET PAPER ROLLS
The PTO is requesting families save their empty toilet paper rolls for a craft during Family Fun Night (February 6th!). You can send them to school with your student and have them placed in the white box in the front lobby near Mrs. Riley. Thank you!
BOOK FAIR – ELEPHANTS, TIGERS, AND BOOKS, OH MY! FEBRUARY 3rd–7th
The book fair will be held February 3-7, 2020 in the library. The Theme: Book Fair Jungle (Elephants, Tigers, and Books, Oh My!).
We are in need of jungle-themed decorations and shopping bags; if you have any, please send them in to school or email Gail Hill ([email protected]) to coordinate.
FAMILY FUN NIGHT – THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 6th
The BHS PTO invites all families to Family Fun Night at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 6th at 7:00 p.m. Flyers will be sent home in backpacks soon.
VIOLIN
Violin parents, please encourage daily practice. All students should have a January practice calendar to record their at home practices.
All violin students are invited to perform at the Academy Warehouse Theatre on Friday, February 21. A note will be sent home soon with all needed information. Students who are not beginners received the Academy review list on Friday. Please email Mrs. Paris ([email protected]) if you did not receive a list.

The SCA would like to thank all our families who donated books to our “Share” Library. You have made our Reading Specialist very happy by providing some wonderful reading experiences for our students.
